Hand painted pewter model of Noah's Ark complete with the animals, Noah and his wife.  In Victorian times, children were only allowed to play with religious toys on Sundays.  So this toy would have been kept for playing with on a Sunday.  All of the animals have been meticulously hand painted.  Animals included are lions, giraffes, elephants, pigs, cows, sheep, peacocks and doves plus Mr and Mrs Noah.
